All of our 5 frame honey bee nucleus hives (Nucs), are locally raised and wintered right here in Kalamazoo county of southwest Michigan.
Our nuc hives include a proven overwintered queen bee with her brood and bees.
Due to our winter weather, our nuc hives are not ready for customer pickup

Michigan Queens For Sale ( Queen Bees Sold Out For 2024 )
We offer our local mated queen bees from early June through August at our Kalamazoo breeding farm. Our northern mated queens have good wintering qualities with rapid spring buildup. They exhibit hygienic nesting behavior and are produced from our overwintered breeder queen stock.
Queen brood patterns are evaluated in nucleus hives prior to customer delivery.
